The department of Political Science was established in June 1993 along with the establishment of the Mahavidyalaya. Political Science has been a very important and popular subject in Social Sciences. During the three years of graduation, priority is given to practical applications along with theoretical knowledge of the subject. Emphasis is given on the study of the Indian Constitution, Maharashtra, India and International relations. From time to time, seminars, debates are organized in accordance with the contemporary political process, along with component tests and homework. Special lectures by experts are organised and many short projects are done. Active participation of students in the process of information and knowledge is encouraged. Many students have achieved great success and appeared in the merit list of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada. Many students of the department have passed SET, NET and competitive exams and are successfully working in different sectors such as teachers, professors, lawyers, social workers and political leaders.
